Values I Cherish
I begin by gently asking my clients and their families
what they are struggling with the most at this moment.
Rather than pointing out what they can no longer do,
I focus on providing support that never creates a sense of burden or discomfort.
My intention is always to create moments
where they can feel even a little more at ease.
The Background of My Role as a
Dignity Life Navigator
To offer support that truly fits each person’s current situation,
it is essential to listen for the voices that are not spoken aloud.
I pay close attention to the subtle anxieties and emotional shifts within, and work to create a space where they can feel, “I am safe here.”
That is the wish I hold at the heart of this role.
What Makes My Care Different
Providing care with kindness and attentiveness is something everyone should do. But for me, it is never a task to complete.
I value the time spent with the person—the shared moments themselves.
Between each visit, if a gentle “afterglow” of our time together
remains in their heart, and if we can share that feeling the next time we meet,
that is my greatest joy.
